The Director
Founded by Kapil Chudasama, an experienced health and safety professional with a strong background in manufacturing and engineering, TIPS Consultancy Ltd was established following his decision to form his own company and operate as an independent freelance consultant. The business was created to simplify compliance for busy business owners and fill a gap in the market for honest, straightforward advice – without the unnecessary upselling often directed at company directors. Kapil’s practical approach focuses on what matters most – real-world solutions that work on site, not just on paper.
The Director's Journey
Kapil is a highly accomplished Health and Safety Professional with a strong foundation in business management and a proven record of delivering pragmatic, results-driven compliance solutions. His journey began at De Montfort University, where he combined academic excellence with hands-on industry experience, working for a Bosch-owned company in a fast-moving consumer goods production environment, while self-funding his NEBOSH Certificate and later graduating with a First-Class Honours degree in Business Management.
Rapid progression through manufacturing and aerospace sectors followed, where he obtained the NEBOSH Diploma and later joined senior leadership by the age of 26 – developing a sharp understanding of operational risk, culture, and governance.
Eager to deepen his technical and practical expertise and benchmark best practice within small and medium-sized businesses, Kapil joined a well-established Health and Safety and Employment Law firm, supporting over 100 clients across multiple industries. The department was led by a former HSE Inspector, providing invaluable insight into regulatory expectations and practical compliance across diverse sectors.
Now, as Director of TIPS Consultancy Ltd, he partners directly with SME owners to simplify health and safety management through clear, practical advice, competent-person support, and fire risk assessment services. Alongside his consultancy work, Kapil also serves as a Corporate Health and Safety Officer within local government, ensuring his advice is always grounded in both private- and public-sector best practice.
